Who I am
God asked Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?"
I read the writings of the early Friends and asked God, "Can't these old bones live?"
Ezekiel's valley filled with living beings.
God told me, "Not their bones, but yours must live today."
God told Ezekiel, "The people shall know I am God when they are brought forth from their grave."
"The day is coming and now is," said Jesus, "when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son. And those who will hear shall come forth from their grave."
This blog, then, is an invitation to hear.

Chapter 6 grabs our attention at the outset by Jesus feeding 5,000 men plus women and children with the meal a boy brought for himself. But Jesus’ discussion concerning the bread of life following this event is one of the most profound portions of Scripture.
What must we do to gain this life? When is it available?. Who else can provide this life to us? The answers to all these questions and more are contained in this chapter. Continue reading
“The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.” Jesus’ statement is as explosive today as it was when he told it to his Jewish audience. It leaves much of our current theology in ruins and causes us to re-examine what the Church as taught for centuries. Continue reading

Note: This first appeared as a blog post on the New Foundation Fellowship website. There are two compelling reasons for devoting a whole session in this series to Fox’s teaching about the Holy Spirit. The first is that Quakerism is … Continue reading
